‘Laughter Chefs season 3': Mamta Kulkarni returns to the spotlight after 25 years for a nostalgic celebration; Krushna Abhishek says 'Having Mamta ji on our set honestly felt unreal'
Popular actress from the 90s, Mamta Kulkarni who redefined what it meant to be a Bollywood sensation, recently graced the screen for the first time in 25 years. She made her grand television debut on ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ and brought the nostalgia of her hit films and songs. The contestants went all out to surprise her and showed up in vibrant costumes. The looks were inspired by her iconic films to bring her era back to life. The filmy madness hit peak levels as Bharti Singh stepped into the role of the ever-suffering mother (played by Rakhi) from Karan Arjun, while Karan Kundrra and Arjun Bijlani fully embraced their namesake characters. The kitchen turned into a full-blown parody with over-the-top dialogues and spot-on mimicry. It had everyone laughing non-stop. But Krushna Abhishek completely stole the show with his act on ‘Mang Meri Bharo’. Taking the lyrics way too seriously, he danced inside a tub filled with water, his head covered in sindoor. It was so bizarre that even Mamta was left stunned.

Things only got crazier in the kitchen when Mamta tried to “help” Aly Goni and ended up pouring sugar straight into his spicy Punjabi kadhi. What started as a solid dish quickly turned into a total mess, and Aly just lost it. Aly dropped on the floor in a full dramatic mode and crawled in defeat.
Amidst all the madness, Mamta shared some fun throwback moments from the 90s. She spoke about her time working with Govinda and some hilarious moments from their shoots. The kitchen turned into a dance floor and everyone joined Mamta to groove to her iconic 90s hits.Krushna Abhishek, from Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, shares, ”Having Mamta ji on our set honestly felt unreal, like Bollywood’s golden era just walked straight into our kitchen! We have all grown up watching her, so it was a total pinch-me moment. Of course, we welcomed her in our signature madness, and she jumped right into the chaos like a pro. Between all the laughter and leg-pulling, we also had some really warm, nostalgic conversations about the 90s, about legends like Govinda and the kind of comedy and dance that still inspires us today. This episode is pure 90s nostalgia with a Laughter Chefs twist, and trust me, it’s going to be a total blast for the audience.”
