Mahhi Vij faces criticism after sharing a video of caring for her ailing father; user questions, 'What About His Dignity?'

Mahhi Vij, a devoted mother to her three children Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer, shared a heartfelt video on Instagram today, where she is seen caring for her ailing father. In the post, she gave a glimpse of how challenging the past 10 days have been, calling them the toughest days of her life. In her caption, Mahhi expressed her deep wish for her father's speedy recovery. The video shows the actress nursing her father with love and care.

In the video shared by Mahhi Vij, she is seen caring for her father by bathing him, trimming his nails, and attending to his needs. She shared that her father has always been her biggest support, and believes that no one, not even a nurse, can care for a parent as well as their own child. Calling her father 'courageous,' Mahhi assured that she will always stand by his side. She also confidently expressed that her father will regain his health and be up on his feet within a month.

She captioned the video as, "These 10 days of my life have been the toughest.My father who is my pillar,does every bit of my work so that I can be comfortable.Today when he needs me I want to possibly do everything to see him walking as he use to.I feel half of healing happens when they see there kids,a nurse can not do what you can or for that matter help.i feel proud to be there for my father and hopefully in a months time he wil be as he was. My brave father ��My everything. M gonna be there, I love you papa. Emotionally mentally exhausted but positive because I can see us winning,smiling,grinning. We will sail thru this.''



As soon as Mahhi Vij shared the video, friends from the industry, including Nisha Rawal and Kishwer Merchant, showered her with love and prayers. However, some users raised concerns about the post, suggesting certain moments should remain private. One user commented, "Some stuff should just remain private. What about his dignity?" Another questioned Mahhi's motive, asking, "I don't know what's the use of making such personal family issues into reels... sympathetic popularity or what?" A third user added, "Stop showing yourself, dear. Taking care of parents is a duty, not something that needs publicity."

Mahhi responded to a comment, revealing that it was her father who requested her to share the video on social media. She wrote, "To all those, my father was the one who wanted me to post this for the nerds who abandon their parents... to all those writing negative comments, God bless you all, may you find some positivity in everything you see."
