This week has been quite a roller coaster of emotions. While controversies in the reality show Bigg Boss 15 kept increasing, new fights, friendships, bonds were seen. Amid the ongoing trends surrounding BB, Shehnaaz Gill is promoting her film ‘Honsla Rakh’ and fans keep supporting her. Here are all the major things that happened in the telly world this week.

Bigg Boss 15 which started on October 2 has already started grabbing attention with its over the top arguments, fights, remarks and more. In two week's time, Jay Bhanushali and Pratik Sehajpal had gotten into numerous fights. One of them was a little too out of hand where Pratik was hurled abuses by actor Jay Bhanushali, and the latter had been trolled for his attitude both inside and outside the house. While all this took place inside the house, there was a Twitter war taking place between Mahhi Vij (Jay’s wife) and Prerna Sehajpal (Pratik’s sister).

Television actor Mohsin Khan joined the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2016 and in no time, gained immense popularity. His on-screen chemistry with Shivangi Joshi (Naira/Sirat) made them one of the most celebrated television couples. However, now his journey of five-and-a-half years will come to an end. The show which started in 2009 will continue to air with a new storyline in the coming days. This week Mohsin Khan wrapped up the shoot of the show in Mumbai and had an emotional last day on sets with producer Rajan Shahi, cast and crew members. Shehnaaz Gill is back to work more than a month after her close friend Sidharth Shukla's demise due to a heart attack. The actress, who has been keeping a low profile of late, enjoys great love and support from her colleagues and fans. Post Sidharth's demise, Shehnaaz has been often mentioned by Bigg Boss contestants like Pavitra Punia and Arti Singh. They wished for her to return to a normal life soon. Her supporters have frequently trended her on Twitter, calling her their 'sherni'.

Bollywood's dream girl Hema Malini and director Ramesh Sippy will be coming on the sets of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 13' to celebrate 46 years of the iconic and record-breaking film 'Sholay'. They will be seen as special guests in the 'Shaandaar Shukravaar' episode of 'KBC 13'. The trio - Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Ramesh Sippy will be seen sharing various unknown facts and details about the film 'Sholay' and what happened 'behind the scenes'. And the fun does not end here. In a special surprise, Dharamendra will be seen joining the show via a video call. He will be seen giving his love and good wishes to the host Amitabh Bachchan and the guests of the Shaandaar Shukravaar episode. The guests will donate the winning amount to the 'Hema Malini Foundation' that works towards the education and medical treatments of the children in Mathura.

The recent task of extracting maximum quantity of sugarcane juice, saw the contestants try their best to win the task. In the first round, the winning team had to pour the poison potion on one of the opposite contestants and they chose Simba Nagpal, who was out of the game. During the task earlier, Umar Riaz and Simba Nagpal got into a spat where Ieshaan Sehgaal intervened to calm them down. Umar stole sugarcane sticks from Donal, which led to the spat. Later, when the task re-started, Simba, who was out of the game, tried to distract Umar by taunting him. He told Umar Riaz that he has no identity of his own and is only enjoying the perks of being Asim Riaz' brother. To which, Umar did not react but said, "Finally, Simba's baby has opened his mouth" and kept calling him "Simba baby." Simba did not stop here and called him "gawaar" and "Fattu Riaz". Simba said, "Bhai ke dum par pahuncha hai, teri koi aukaat nahin hai." He further said, "You are jealous of your younger brother and that is why you want to become like him."

Shamita Shetty feels guilty for destroying Miesha Iyer's pair of sandals during 'jungle mein khunkhar dangal' task. The actress apologised to Miesha for her act and assured her that Pratik Sehajpal was unaware of it. Miesha Iyer got emotional and told Pratik that he knows she has nobody outside, who will send her necessary items inside the house. Pratik apologised to Miesha and hugged her. Shamita also hugged her and said that she will make up for it. Shamita Shetty asked Pratik Sehajpal why did Miesha say that she had nobody to send her items. Pratik revealed that Miesha's parents are no more. This made Shamita emotional and she started crying. Pratik consoled her. Shamita immediately asked Pratik to call Miesha in the main Bigg Boss house. Shamita Shetty once again apologised to Miesha and hugged her and further gave her a pair of shoes as an apology.

Renowned comedian Kapil Sharma's wife Ginni Chatrath, who barely makes a public appearance, was captured in the lenses of the paparazzi on Tuesday, October 12. Ginni requested the shutterbugs to let her go home early as her toddler son Trishaan is alone at home. She said that she came to do the shopping for 'Kanjak Puja'. The comedian's wife came to buy gifts to give to the little girls on this auspicious day. Ginni also said that she is just busy with the kids at home.

The first elimination in Bigg Boss 15 has taken place. Salman Khan announced the eviction in the show. Talking to the contestants, he said that Sahil Shroff has been ousted from the house. Salman also stated that Sahil got the least votes from the audience out of all the contestants. The rest of the housemates were saddened by the decision and it is to be noted that Sahil failed to create an impression in the first week of the show, unlike other contestants who got instantly noticed by the viewers of the show.

Nisha Rawal, who levelled allegations of domestic violence against estranged husband Karan Mehra on June 1, has shared a cryptic post amid fighting a legal battle for son Kavish's custody with the Yeh Rishta actor. The actress in her new post shared a quote by Gaur Gopal Das which read, "If you speak too much, they'll say you're cheap. If you don't speak as much, they'll say you have an attitude. If you speak just as much as is required, they'll say you're mean. Whatever you do, they'll always say something. Don't allow what they'll say to define your life." She captioned it as, "If this is what u needed to hear too…" Several of her followers agreed with her. One wrote, "Kuch toh log kahenge! If it comes from people who don’t matter-it doesn’t matter."

Kashmera Shah, who has been seen as a contestant on Bigg Boss took a dig at Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik in her new tweet. She had written, "Just saw last night’s episode and this season of BiggBoss kicks last season’s ass. Superb job team for casting interesting people that are interested in playing the game and don’t spend their entire time doing yoga and eating apples @ColorsTV @BeingSalmanKhan #bb15." Things seem to be moving quickly between Ieshaan Sehgaal and Miesha Iyer. They have found company in each other. The romance between the two has been increasing day after day. The episode was a mix of highs and lows but it was when host Salman Khan took Raj Kundra’s name was the moment that caught everyone’s attention. Following this Salman took his and a few other housemates’ names including that of Karan Kundrra. However, soon after saying Karan he mentioned Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra’s name too. “Raj Kundra bhi samajh gaya (Raj Kundra has also understood).” Shamita Shetty, who is Raj Kundra’s sister-in-law was a little taken aback. Afsana Khan was seen picking an unnecessary fight with Umar and asking him to leave and continue his “doctory”. This made Umar fume with anger, who lashed out at the latter. He gave her a befitting reply stating, “Don’t you dare talk about my profession and mismatch my statements.
