Mouni Roy glows in red as a Bengali bride, see first pics of Mr and Mrs Nambiar

After being guarded about her love life with Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar, Mouni Roy has finally tied the knot with him. She exchanged wedding vows with him on Thursday, January 27. Post the completion of South Indian wedding ceremony rituals, the couple took the vows once again in a traditional Bengali wedding. Mouni and Suraj have tied the knot once again in a traditional Bengali style wedding ceremony. A picture of the bride dressed in deep red bridal attire with gota patti border work is doing rounds on social media. The traditional jewellery and her gleaming smile surely add up to the bridal look. Mouni looks absolutely stunning dressed as a Bengali bride.

Mouni Roy posted these photos on her Instagram and captioned, "I found him at last ..♥️ Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends , We re married!!!!!!!!!!! Need your love and blessings… Love, Suraj & Mouni." Her friends, Aashka Goradia, Disha Parmar, Nisha Rawal, Shraddha Arya, Aly Goni, Surbhi Jyoti, Adaa Khan, Krishna Mukherjee, Sophie Choudry, Arjit Taneja, Amit Sadh, Piyush Bhagat and many others blessed and congratulated her.

Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar are all smiles in these photographs as they exchange garlands at their wedding ceremony. Mouni is also seen whispering something funny, which has got her and Suraj laughing out loud.

Mouni Roy's husband Suraj Nambiar is a South Indian and therefore the couple had a morning wedding as per the Malayali traditions. Mouni wore a white saree with deep red border and gold jewellery. She looked stunning as a South Indian bride while Suraj looked handsome in a brown shirt and mundu. They are finally Mr and Mrs Nambiar.

In this photo, Suraj Nambiar is tying the sacred thread 'thali' around his bride Mouni Roy's neck. Their respective family members surround the bride and the groom as they take on the most important ritual of the wedding.

Meet Brothers fame Manmeet shared these photos with bride Mouni Roy. The actress completed her white saree look with heavy traditional gold jewellery. From the forehead, neck, ears, hands, waist, Mouni was covered in gold jewellery. She ditched the nose ring though and decorated her hair with white flowers. Manmeet, who considers Mouni to be his sister, captioned the photo: "The south Indian bride��"

Mouni Roy is followed by her entourage who've held candle holders as the bride walks to the mandap set right next to the pool at a plush resort in Goa. Mouni is all smiles and one can't fail to notice the long hair flower veil.

Groom Suraj Nambiar gets sandwiched with kisses from his ladylove Mouni Roy and her best friend, Mandira Bedi. Mandira is extremely happy to see Mouni get the love of her life. Mandira also wore a traditional South Indian saree for this special occasion.

Mouni met Suraj at the New Year's Eve of 2019 in Dubai. They clicked immediately and continued to stay in touch, which led to them dating each other. Mouni rang in the 2021 New Year with Suraj and his family in Dubai and reportedly, the Naagin actress discussed her wedding with Suraj's family at her best friend, Mandira Bedi's residence in Mumbai. The actress remained tight-lipped about her love affair with Suraj until news about her wedding broke out.
