Naagin 7 faces backlash over major VFX slip in latest episode; raw footage goes viral

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary-starrer Naagin 7 has once again made headlines, and this time due to a major editing slip. It has caught everyone’s attention, and fans can’t stop talking about it. Clips of the raw footage from the show, where the editors missed adding VFX, have been trending on social media. In Episode 38, titled “Radhika’s Deadly Betrayal,” a shocking VFX error made its way to the final broadcast, leaving viewers stunned.

In one of the key parts, live-action footage was shown instead of the edited version. From the blue screen background to the safety wires tied to the characters, all the elements that would otherwise remain invisible through the use of special effects were evident. In a bid to create a suspenseful scene, the viewers were instead given an unexpected glimpse into the backstage production.



Fans flooded platforms like X and Instagram with their reactions. One user wrote, “Is this the final episode or a rehearsal clip? How did they even air this?” Another commented, “They forgot to remove the blue screen, this is next-level carelessness.” A third user joked, “At this point, the VFX team deserves a plot twist of their own!”

Several others joined in with sharper takes. “This looks like a VFX tutorial gone wrong,” one user joked, while another wrote, “We waited for a big twist and got a behind-the-scenes leak instead.” A fan sarcastically said, “Budget went into promotions, not post-production.” Another comment read, “Even school projects have cleaner editing than this.”

Some viewers also expressed disappointment rather than humor. “It breaks the entire illusion of the show,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Such mistakes make it hard to take the story seriously.” A few even questioned the quality control, saying, “Was no one checking the final cut before airing?”
