Sanjivani

The show was one of its kind and a trendsetter when it first aired in 2002. The plot of the show centered around four medical interns and the difficulties they faced at work and their personal lives. The main cast featured popular actors including Mohnish Behl, Gurdeep Kohli, Mihir Mishra, Sanjeet Bedi, Rupali Ganguly among others. Such was the success of the show that its second season was made last year in 2019. While some of popular names were retained, there were fresh faces, too. The list included Sayantani Ghosh, Surbhi Chandna, Namita Khanna among others.

Dill Mill Gayye

Dill Mill Gayye which first aired in 2007 came as a sequel to Sanjivani. The show's plot again revolved around medical interns with the main highlight being Dr. Armaan Malik (Karan Singh Grover) and Dr Riddhima Gupta's (Shilpa Anand/ Sukriti Kandpal/ Jennifer Winget) love story. The show ran successfully for three years.

Savitri Devi College and Hospital

Starring Swarda Thigale, Varun Kapoor and Vikram Sakhalkar, the show ran for over a year on television. It centered around Dr Sanchi Mishra (Swara), a medical student, who wanted to fulfill her dream of being a doctor. The show was well-received by the audience.

Kuch Toh Log Kahenge

The show, which first aired in 2011, focused on the love story around a team of doctors employed at Kotnis Hospital in Lucknow. It was liked by the viewers and ran for over a year and a half.

Ayushmaan

Helmed by Sudeep Sahir, Ayushmaan was the story of a young child who is discovered to be a medical genius. It shows his journey as the youngest qualified doctor, who later falls in love with a senior doctor which leads to internal conflicts.The show first aired in August 2004.

Ek Nayi Ummeed- Roshni

Featuring popular actors Pooja Gor and Sahil Anand in the lead, the shooting of the medical drama was done in a real hospital. The show, which aired in 2015, might have not had a long run, but it came as a refreshing change for the telly viewers.

Hamari Sister Didi

The show, which featured Pariva Pranati, Hiten Tejwani, Bhanu Uday and Avneet Kaur, revolved around the head nurse Amrita at Muskaan hospital. It was built by her husband Dr Avinash, who believed that besides medicine it is love that heals a patient completely. However, things change after Dr Avinash's death, when Dr Karan enters to take charge of the hospital.
