Not owning an ATM card to writing love letters to wife Jaya Bachchan; Intriguing facts Amitabh Bachchan revealed about himself on KBC12

Kaun Banega Crorepati is a show that has always been loved by the audience. And what makes it more interesting for all is watching the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan sharing some fascinating facts about his day-to-day life and career too. In the currently running season 12 of the show, the actor has revealed many such things in his talks with the contestants. Let’s get to know a few of those…

In an episode when there were a series of banking-related questions, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he does not have an ATM card and he is scared to use it also. He told the contestant that he fears what if the card gets stuck inside the machine if he tries to withdraw money. He further expressed that now he feels the need of having an ATM card. In one of the recent episodes, Big B, during his conversation about marriage with contestant, Yogesh Pandey shared that he has written many love letters to Jaya Bachchan in their young days. In yet another episode Amitabh Bachchan narrated a story about his relationship and equation with late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray. He told that when he got married to Jaya Bachchan, they were both invited to Balasaheb's house. And on reaching his place, his wife Jaya was welcomed by Tai, Thackeray’s wife Meetai Thackeray with an aarti.

In another episode, while the host was in conversation with the special guest Bezwada Wilson, Big B recalled his days of Sholay. He told that they went to shoot for the film in a village, named Ramanagaram, in Karnataka, which was a deserted place without any road connectivity and facilities. The celebrated actor recalled his school days in one of the episodes while he was having a conversation about financial crisis with the contestant. He then shared a story from his childhood, when he wanted to join the school cricket team for which Rs. 2 had to be paid. Amitabh Bachchan shared another amusing story about his personal life in one of the episodes. He revealed that during the year 1942, his mother, who was eight months pregnant and was expecting him took part in a procession which was for the Indian Independence struggle. When the men of the family came and learnt that she was not home and had gone to take part in the procession, they got angry and got her home. At that moment a person who was part of the Indian Independence struggle suggested that she should name her son, 'Inquilab'.

Another interesting fact that Amitabh Bachchan revealed was about his favourite and not so favourite colours. In an episode wherein he asked for some fashion tips from the contestant who is a fashion designer. In response she asked him to try colours like beige, brown and grey, and also mentioned that she has noticed him wearing blue a lot. During one of the initial episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, Ask the expert guest Richa Aniruddh had questioned Amitabh Bachchan about performing house chores during the lockdown. And in response to this, Big B had shared that he did all the sweeping and cleaning at his house since he doesn’t know cooking. He had said, “Bilkul. Sab kaam kiya maine. Jhaadu pochha. In yet another episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, Amitabh Bachchan revealed and talked about his love for Dilip Kumar. He further shared that he loves the celebrated actor's movie Ganga Jamuna and he has watched it several times. Further stating that according to him, the movie is one of the historic movies of Indian Cinema, Mr Bachchan shared that he considers Dilip Kumar as his idol.
