Unity is strength and that is one thing everyone has learnt by watching the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Apart from all the comic dialogues, the show teaches a lot about relationships with friends and family.

This is an old show where all the characters are remembered even today. The show starred Ashok Saraf, Vidya Balan, Rakhee Tandon, Bhairavi Raichura, and Vandana Pathak. The story and the relationship between characters in the show is something that the audiences liked watching.

​Sarabhai VS Sarabhai

This was a comedy sitcom depicting the story of the unusual behaviour of a family which always left audiences in splits. All the characters from the show were relatable at some point.

The funny scenes that took place in the house and dialogues mouthed by the characters are remembered even today. Praful and Hansa's histrionics were the perfect laughter dose for people. Khichdi was perhaps one of the funniest shows on Indian television that came as a breath of fresh air

This is a daily soap which has been running on TV for years and while it is a love story, the families play a very important role. It's essentially a family drama that has gone through various leaps. Cousins Gopi and Rashi get married into the same family irrespective of their mutual differences. Gopi's mother-in-law, a character named Kokila, then transforms her into a woman of substance. The show was a lot about a saas-bahu relationship, but the entire family was very much in focus too.

This was one show that focussed on relationships, be it between the lead couple or the love between a mother and daughter. For the viewers, it was an emotional family drama that kept them glued to their TV sets for years.

This story was about the Oberoi brothers - Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra and their relationship with each other. Their friendships and romances were also showcased beautifully. This was a unique concept for a daily soap and viewers did give it a thumbs up

In this family drama, a character named Rannvijay raises his half-sister, Veera, like his own child. Their mother, Ratan, shows her contempt towards Veera on the outside but helps her son raise her nonetheless.

When you have a joint family with around 50 members, there will only be drama and more drama. That's what happened with the Thakkar family in this show. From a doting and strict baa to an understanding and funny family, every character was quite adorable.
