Poonam Pandey is very much alive. The actress shared a video spreading awareness on ‘cervical cancer’. Celebs, who previously expressed their grief on her sudden demise at such young age, have now taken to social media to slam her team and her. Several called her out for her publicity stunt calling it ‘cheap’ and disgusting’. Take a look:

Aly Goni wrote, “Fu*king cheap publicity stunt it was nothing else.. u guys think it’s funny ? U and ur PR team should be boycotted I swear.. bloody losers and to all the media portals we people here trust u that’s y we believed it.. shame on u all…”

Former Bigg Boss contestant wrote, “Absolute cheapness ! It's disheartening to witness the depths some individuals will sink to for a momentary spotlight. Faking one's death, especially in the context of a serious illness like cancer, is not just tasteless but downright disrespectful. It trivializes the very real struggles that millions face worldwide and breaks the trust of those who genuinely care. Let's not reward such attention-seeking behavior with our attention.”

Rahul Vaidya had previously tweeted, “Am I the only one who thinks Poonam Pandey is not dead.. ??!!” And post Poonam’s ‘being alive’ video, he wrote, “And I was right!! Now that poonam is alive I can surely say RIP PR/ marketing. New low of creating a sensational/viral campaign .. welcome to KALYUG.”

Arti Singh wrote, "Disgusting… this is not awareness .I lost my mother when I was born coz of cancer . I lost my father coz of cancer ..My mother use to tell doc bacha lo . My baby is just born and I hv one year old son .u are not spreading awareness u are spreading lies ..go to hospital and bl**dy see people fighting for their lives . Just not acceptable: u are playing with everyone emotions . Shame and it’s shocking tht people can stoop down to this level. Rest in peace for u is just like a word . Go and ask people who hav actually lost there loved ones .. u using social media to spread lies not awareness.. sh*tty pr stunt."

The Barsatein actor wrote, “How stupid and how lame it is to fake your death. It’s sad and alarming. I think it will be right to put the person and their entire PR team behind bars to set an example for the future for no nonsense fake news.”

Sharing a video, Shardul Pandit wrote, “Not cool @poonampandeyreal not cool whoever came up with the idea , whoever convinced you , not cool whoever thought this is a good awareness. At the cost of sounding like a joke I was affected, hurt , disoriented , lost and deeply saddened. As much as I thankgod that you are alive I hate the fact that I along with many had to go through the deep emotions ,grief and sadness. Why am I calling this out on social media coz this was done. Someday I will forgive you as I love you but this needs to be called out. This needs to be stopped . This is not the awareness we need this is not the pain we need. I have lost my mother to cancer I speak for depression. Now I speak out publically to stop STUNTS like this . Someone could have lost their life to a news like this , how would that be as awareness.”

The Khatron Ke Khiladi fame Sheezan Khan wrote, “#Disgusting, Shameful. Inko maut mazak lagti hai!”
