Rannvijay Singha to Ayushmann Khurrana: Here’s a list of all the former Roadies winners

The 19th edition of the adventure based reality show is going to premiere today (April 8). The current season is going to see a new format and will be hosted by – Sonu Sood. The show has been shot over a span of 45 days in South Africa. As Roadies 19 is all set to premiere, here’s taking a look at all the previous winners of the season and what they are up to:

Model and athlete Hamid Barkzi won the 18th edition of Roadies season – Roadies Revolution. The show was shot during the pandemic following all protocols. Delhi boy Hamid was from Nikhil Chinapa’s team. Along with the trophy, the 24-yr-old won a bike and a cash prize of Rs. 3 lakh.

Kashmiri boy, Arun Sharma won the 17th season of India’s longest running adventure reality show, Roadies Real Heroes. A part of gang leader Raftaar’s team, Arun took the trophy home, defeating Gang Prince in the grand finale. Arun entered the show as a wild card contestant after winning virtual audtions.

Kashish, an engineer-turned-martial artist, Kashish Thakur Pundir was first a part of Prince Narula's gang but midway during the season, was transferred to Neha Dhupia's group. He won the 16th season Roadies Xtreme (2018).

Shweta Mehta from Neha Dhupia’s team won the 15th edition – Roadies Rising. Last year, Shweta exclusively recalled her near fatal accident and the challenges she faced as a result of it. The actress and fitness enthusiast opened up about her serious accident in a trampoline park in Surat, Gujarat and shared that she suffered seven fractures in the neck and serious damage in three bones of her spinal cord. Shweta is back with a bang and her social media page will give serious fitness goals.

Balraj Singh Khehra won the 14th season of Roadies. He was from Karan Kundrra’s gang. After winning the reality show, Balraj had also acted in the historical drama, 21 Sarfarosh - Saragarhi 1897. He also actively participated during the Farmers' protest. He is quite active in the Punjab entertainment industry.

Prince Narula clearly needs no introduction. Known as the King of reality shows, Prince not only won the 12th season, he also lifted Splitsvilla 8, Bigg Boss 9 and Nach Baliye 9 with wife Yuvika. Prince has done TV shows and was actively a part of Roadies 14 onwards as a gang leader. He is quite a popular mentor to the youth. Along with Roadies trophy, Prince had won Rs 5 lakh cash.

Nikhil Sachdeva won season 11 trophy along with Rs 3.2 lakh cash. Nikhil had risen to the top after battling some weight issues that he had had at that time. Post that, he became a fitness freak and is often seen posting pictures on his social media circles.

The 10th season of Roadies – Battle for Glory was won by Palak Johal. She also took home Rs 4.50 lakh. After winning the show, she went onto declare that the show was scripted. Not much is known of her in recent times.

The 9th edition was held in the US and winner took home Rs 6.17 lakh. He was initially kicked out during the auditions by Raghu Ram but later came back and this time to win the title on season 9. Vikas, now a businessman, owns several villas, hotels and properties across the country.

Roadies 8: Shortcut to Hell was held in Brazil and Aanchal Khurana lifted the trophy along with Rs 4 lakh. Aanchal is a popular actress in television and currently seen in Bad Achhe Lagte Hain 2. She plays the role of Brinda Shekhawat. Aanchal did shows like Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, CID, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Savdhaan India and many others.

Anwar Syed won the 7th season - The Deadly Sins & 1 Wild Safari. This MBA graduate didn’t reclaim the fame that he had gained during his Roadies journey. He stayed away from the public limelight. He had took home Rs 90,000 as winning amount.

Nauman Sait won Roadies Hell Down Under. He had earned immense popularity and attention owing to his good looks and chiselled physique. He also has a twin brother Salman Sait. Both of them are in the fitness industry.

Ashutosh Kaushik is also quite a known name in the industry. The fifth season, which was held in Malaysia and Thailand, was won by Ashutosh Kaushik. He later went on to win Bigg Boss 2 title. While Ashutosh has been off the world of showbiz, he was also part of films such as Zila Ghaziabad and Kismat Love Paisa Dilli. He came in news in 2020, when he tied the knot during the lockdown on his terrace.

Anthony was pitted against VJ Bani in the finals and went on to lift the season 4 trophy. Not much is known about him as he decided to steer clear of the limelight.

Parul became the first woman to win the Roadies title. Along with the season 3 trophy, Parul took home Rs 3.6 lakh. Parul gives a glimpse of her traveller side on Facebook. Her bio reads, “Created the page after a lot of requests from MTV Roadies followers, but I feel this page is more about me and my association with motorcycles and beyond.”

Ayushmann Khurrana is a well established name in the industry. Post winning 2nd season of Roadies and winning Rs 5 lakh, Ayushmann went on to venture into an anchoring career. He made his debut with Vicky Donor in 2012 and there has been no looking back for him. He also received the Best Actor National Award for the film AndhaDhun.

Rannvijay paved the way for all the upcoming Roadies after lifting the first ever title. Post winning the title in 2003, he has been associated with the youth-based reality show since then. From gang leader to Mahaguru, Rannvijay quit Roadies after a new format of the show got introduced.
