Popular saas-bahu saga ‘Hum Paanch’ is one of the most popular sitcoms from the 90s. The show reminds the audience of the time when the entire family used to sit together and enjoy TV shows. The Indian audience was in love with the entire Mathur family and the audience could relate to each character in the show. All the ’90s kids are familiar with the Mathur family from the sitcom, Hum Paanch. It focused on Anand Mathur and his five daughters, Meenakshi, Radhika, Sweety, Kajal, and Chhoti was a rage among the audience. Today, even after more than 20 years since its premiere, it still remains one of the gems of Indian Television.

While Ashok Saraf played Anand Mathur, Shoma Anand portrayed a completely different version of a stepmother Bina Mathur. Vandana Pathak essayed the role of Meenakshi. Amita Nangia, Vidya Balan, Rakhee Tandon, and Priyanka Mehra are also some of the popular faces of the show.
