Rise and Fall winner Arjun Bijlani reveals he is not on talking terms with Dhanashree Verma; says 'I don’t even have her number'
Arjun Bijlani, who recently won the title of Rise and Fall, did not share a cordial equation with Dhanashree Verma throughout their stint on the show. In a recent interview with Filmygyan, Arjun Bijlani spoke about his current equation with Dhanashree Verma and revealed that he is not in talking terms with Dhanashree.
“I'm not on talking terms with her because I don’t even have her number, honestly. Joh, show me tha wahi tha… And it’s not like I have taken the effort to be in touch with her or anything of that sort. She is doing what she has to do."
During the show, Arjun and Dhanashree were initially cordial with each other. However, due to Dhanashree's friendship with Arbaz Patel and Arjun's rivalry with him, things between the two turned sour.
Dhanashree broke down in one of the episodes while recalling how her former husband, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, had been unfaithful to her. Although several viewers believed she was using her past and divorce for the game, Arjun stepped in to comfort her.
The Naagin actor spoke about the incident after he came out of the show and clarified his stance. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Arjun said, "She was crying and sharing some things about her past life. I was listening and voiced my opinion calmly because it was just a normal conversation. I didn’t do anything for the game. For me, it was a moment of empathy. She spoke about her personal life out in the open—I would have never done that.
In an exclusive chat with the Times of India TV, Arjun Bijlani spoke about his Rise and Fall victory, "After winning the show, I feel absolutely amazing, it was such a fun and fulfilling experience. In the beginning, though, especially during the first ten days, I found it really tough. There were moments when I questioned whether I was even meant for this show, and I’ll admit, I had a bit of a breakdown. But as they say, all’s well that ends well. I was initially quite nervous about doing a captive reality show, but I’ve always been the kind of person who believes in facing my fears head-on. The journey wasn’t too long, just 42 days but it truly felt like a roller-coaster ride that I thoroughly enjoyed. What makes me happiest is that through this show, people got to see the real Arjun Bijlani, not just the actor or the host they know, but also who I am as a friend and as a competitor in such an intense environment. The experience taught me a lot about patience and helped me discover new things about myself. Overall, it was an incredible journey that I’ll always cherish."
