Roadies Revolution, the show full of thrill and adventure which is all set for its finale tonight has had an extensive journey this year. The eighteenth season of the youth-based reality show has witnessed some unique and monumental moments this season. Let’s take a look at some of those distinctive moments of the season:

This season of Roadies was one of the longest-running seasons owing to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. The shoot for the show was halted for almost three months during the lockdown and was later resumed in June 2020. The first episode of the show premiered on February 15, 2020, and is about to see its grand finale on January 16, 2021.

One of the most loved gang leaders of the show, the Punjabi munda, Prince Narula was not seen after the shoot for the show re-started after the lockdown. As stated by Prince himself, he had to leave due to some personal emergencies which made him stay away from the show. He had finally returned to the show in December 2020.

The season saw heartthrob Varun Sood’s entry as a gang leader in the show. Varun had replaced gang leader Raftaar, who had to leave the season mid-way due to some professional commitments. And could not return later, as he had tested COVID-19 positive.

Roadies Revolution hosted one of the longest-running virtual auditions on social media platforms and it was a historic move in the extensive running of the reality show. These auditions ran from April 2020 to June 2020, and one auditionee had finally won a chance to join the journey.

This season saw the gang leaders touching upon some social cause throughout the journey and encouraged the contestants too to work for the betterment of the society. While Neha advocated women’s safety, Nikhil raised a voice for climate change, Prince took a stand against drug abuse and Raftaar later replaced by Varun had echoed against gender discrimination.

Even though the contestants ran against each other to win the trophy and become the next roadie, the audience witnessed some emotional moments of true friendships this season. One such moment was contestants Zabi and Abhimanyu exchanging places during the vote outs.
