Seher Hone Ko Hai Fame Nidhi Gangta recalls a heartbreaking school memory; says 'braces cost me the role of Meera in a school play'
Nidhi Gangta who is currently winning hearts with her performance in Seher Hone Ko Hai recently unveiled a deeply emotional and significant incident from her school days. The actress remembers that during the play rehearsal, she was all set to play Meeras character in the drama but later was replaced as she had to wear braces. "I had got to play Meera in the school drama and was really very happy from the inside. I had practiced so much and was fully involved in the role. It was a very sudden decision and a very great disappointment for me, " she recalls.

She adds, "I was so attached to the character of Meera that I kept the script with me. I even have pictures of that script till today. It reminds me of how deeply I loved acting even back then and how emotionally invested I was in my work. I can also remember when I was crying terribly for this because when you are preparing for something and it goes from your hand it is very heart breaking. Sometimes when you expect things to go in your way and it doesn't it really breaks you whether it is small or big. For one week I was not able to overcome that. But I also feel everything happens for the best and here I am with the best."
Reflecting on the experience, Nidhi concludes, "The incident taught me resilience at a very young age. It made me stronger and more determined to never let appearances define my talent. Somewhere, that little girl who cried over losing Meera is the reason I value every role I get today."
