Shark Tank India 2: From inspiring start-ups to major tie-ups; here's what these brands with a cause are up to

Shark Tank India 2 had some interesting and technologically innovative brands that had a strong social cause behind their innovation. After getting funded by the Sharks, these brands have been going out globally and also creating awareness in the country, apart from their financial growth, these brands have been bringing a revolution into society and how. Take a look at what are they up to:

Shruti created a wheelchair which would help the disabled to live a life of dignity even in their mobility-impaired state. Shruti had received funding of Rs 1 cr from all 5 sharks. As promised to Peyush, Shruti has finally launched the wheelchair at subsidised prices than what she had pitched earlier. This revolution would change the market's vision and bring more accessible innovations.

The inbuilt hospital care in an ambulance

The Ambulance has been currently associated with IPL, and their market size is turning bigger with each passing day. Currently, in a post shared by the founders they revealed, "Finally, it is important to ensure that emergency services are accessible to all. With a fleet of 7500+ ambulances, we ensure that emergency services reach those in need in a timely manner."

The remote fetal-maternal monitoring

Arun Agarwal got funding of Rs 1 crore from Namita Thapar on the show and now his company also got recognized by Bill Gates with their social funding group and has been growing ahead by creating more products for quicker and more accessible use. The company also received tie-ups with bigger brands that were merged into the Hospital business.

Motorized wheelchairs

The pitchers are currently succeeding with their project as they are associated with bigger brands now and have increased their sales. They have been going to different cities in the country to educate the masses. Their new models could be a game changer for disabled individuals priced between Rs 39,000 to 99,000. This is also three times less expensive than other options available in the Indian Market.

6/7

Automatic sewage cleaners

The septic tank cleaners and pipe robots brand has finally brought a revolution. They are not only growing rapidly but have also helped the government with minimizing manual scavenging and putting people's lives at risk in those septic tanks. Currently, the company has made tie-ups with Government affiliations in cities like Coimbatore, Chennai, and different parts of India. They have also begun to expand their team and hire more professionals to help in the cause. The team had received an investment of around Rs 90 Lakh from Shark Tank India

7/7

Kashmiri brand

The duo had received an investment of Rs 9 Lakhs from the Sharks, now they believe that their courier brand will be able to inspire people around them in Kashmir. From a small team, now they have been growing and going international. Currently, the company's strength is 130 employees and it operates all over India and in a few countries abroad as well. Apart from that, the firm also works with over 1500 MSMEs, - Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Several other small-scale businesses are using the brand's services to deliver products from Kashmir to several parts of the region and the country.
