Tejasswi Prakash reveals her mother encouraged her to live in with boyfriend Karan Kundrra before marriage; says ‘Many are against it’

Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra, who have been dating each other for the last four years, recently spoke about their wedding plans. The couple recently appeared on Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia’s podcast, where Tejasswi revealed that it was her mother, who insisted her and boyfriend Karan Kundrra to live together before deciding to get married.

Talking about their initial dating phase, Karan shared, “Her mother said that she doesn’t trust her daughter at all, and I should take time to think about her, because she isn’t fine. Her father was okay with our relationship.”

Tejasswi added, “She wanted to make sure he was comfortable. My mom was the one who insisted we stayed in a live-in before we decide to get married. So many people are against it, but my mom thinks that we should live together and see.”

Speaking about their relationship and how it started, Karan and Tejasswi shared, "Bigg Boss is where the fondness started." Tejasswi further added, “When he said that he likes me, I really felt like he seems really honest. I took my time to really test him. I just wanted to make sure that he really means what he is saying, and he proved it every time.”

The couple shared that there were many rumours and doubts about their relationship in the beginning, with several people saying it would not last even two weeks. However, Tejasswi Prakash gave a fitting reply to all those assumptions. She said, "We have seen everything, and we have been through everything."

Recently, on their new reality show, Desi Blig, Karan went down on his one knee and proposed to his ladylove Tejasswi Prakash. The actress got teary-eyed and said, "I am shivering. My hands are not going to stop.”
