The 50: Nikki Tamboli accuses Prince Narula of hiding behind daughter for sympathy after body shaming remarks; says 'Don’t use your child as a shield for your behaviour'

The ongoing war of words between Nikki Tamboli and Prince Narula on the reality show The 50 doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. After Prince Narula’s team responded to Nikki’s post accusing him of body-shaming, Nikki has now shared a strongly worded note questioning his use of his daughter’s name in the controversy.

The dispute began when Nikki called out Prince for an alleged body-shaming remark and criticised his conduct as a “so-called husband, father and public figure.” The comment quickly became a major talking point among fans and on social media. In response, Prince Narula’s team issued a clarification stating that the remark was made in a light-hearted, mutual teasing environment and was never intended to insult anyone. They also objected to the mention of his one-year-old daughter in the debate, saying that children should not be dragged into conflicts between adults.




However, Nikki’s latest Instagram story suggests she believes the narrative is being shifted to gain sympathy. Without naming him directly, she wrote, “Stop playing the victim card and hiding behind your daughter’s name and age. Own your actions. Don’t use your child as a shield for your behaviour. Being a parent isn’t a PR strategy. Victim card won’t fix character. Accountability will.”

She further added that “Sympathy shouldn’t be built on someone else’s innocence” and that “children deserve protection, not projection,” reinforcing her stand that the focus should remain on the original remark rather than emotional deflection.

For the uninitiated, during an episode of The 50 Prince reportedly commented on Nikki’s lips. Talking to Shiv and his team members, Prince commented on Nikki and said, "Nikki bilkul theek thi pehle. Uske face pe expressions nahi aate the Pehle. Phir maine doctor ko bulaake (hints at lip fillers by making pouty face) ye karaya."

The 50 which premiered on February 1st, has 50 contestants from entertainment industry as contestants.
