The 50: Urvashi Dholakia evicted after bottom two face-off with Karan Patel; latter calls it ‘very emotional’ to see a close friend leave

The latest episode of The 50 started on a dramatic note as television's two popular stars, Karan Patel and Urvashi Dholakia were in the bottom two in the voting round. After suspense, the Lion announced that Urvashi Dholakia received the exit order and had to leave the Mahal. All the players were stunned when the Lion announced Urvashi's name.

In the BTS video, Karan revealed that he has known Urvashi since she was 14 years old and he was around 8 or 9. He said, "We have known each other since then. She has literally seen us grow. Aap samajh sakte hain kitne saalon puraane humare acquaintance hain joh ab dosti mein change ho chuki hai. It is always a very emotional and a heart wrenching moment to see a close friend leave the show and go."




Yuvika also looked shocked and stated that they were unable to process Urvashi's elimination. Contestants struggled to process her departure and many blamed Aarya Jadhao for flipping during voting.

Siwet and Shiv revealed to Karan Patel that their original plan was to create a tie between Urvashi and Karan, but Aarya’s unexpected move changed the outcome. This sparked tension inside the Mahal.

The episode also witnessed Urvashi Dholakia performing 'Dare Or No Dare' challenge in which she had to sit in a tub filled with ice at 0–1 degree temperature. She had to choose a time limit range she believed she can survive inside the tub. Other contestants watching from outside also had to predict her chosen time and if Manisha’s time matches the majority’s prediction, Rs 1 lakh would be added to the money pot. However, if it doesn’t match, Rs 1 lakh would be deducted.

Manisha selects the 2–3 minute time slot and she managed to perform the task after initially quitting the task twice. She gathered courage in the third attempt, she successfully completed the task. Her time also matched the players’ prediction, and Rs 1 lakh was added to the money pot.
