The Great Indian Kapil Show 3: From recreating Mr. Malhotra–Ms. Briganza moment with Anupam Kher to Ali Fazal talking about his fatherhood journey; Archana Puran Singh shares candid moments

The Great Indian Kapil Show has unwrapped its curtains for Season 3 and is already winning many hearts. The second episode aired last weekend and featured a powerhouse lineup including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and director Anurag Basu. Archana Puran Singh shared a vlog on her YouTube channel and unveiled some behind-the-scenes moments:

The vlog began with Archana getting ready for the shoot. She reveals how she’s very excited to finally reunite with her old friends and co-stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and others. She walks down memory lane and recalls her Kuch Kuch Hota Hai days with Anupam Kher. She also gives a glimpse of her vanity room and the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show.

As Archana walks onto the set of The Great Indian Kapil Show, she gives a sneak peek into the dance rehearsals of Krushna Abhishek. She mentions how Krushna doesn’t even need to rehearse so much, as he’s perfect. She further shows the sofa she’s going to sit on and how everything is rehearsed beforehand.

Archana reveals how Pankaj Tripathi is her neighbour in Madh Island, and even though they live very close by, they have hardly visited each other’s place. She hugs Pankaj and invites him to come over to their place in Madh Island the next time he’s there. Pankaj promises to do so and also talks about his hometown in Bihar.

Archana reunites with her Kuch Kuch Hota Hai co-star Anupam Kher. The two portrayed the roles of Mr. Malhotra and Ms. Briganza in the popular Bollywood movie. They tease each other and re-create their iconic line from the movie. Later, Anupam jokes, “Humara rishta dosti ke aage badh hi nahi paaya.”

Archana greets actor Ali Fazal and congratulates him on becoming a father. She asks him how wife Richa is doing and how his fatherhood experience is going. Ali shares, “The other day, my baby girl took her first few steps and I was surprised because I don’t want her to grow up so fast. Richa is very happy with everything as well.”

Archana meets Neena Gupta and praises her for her strong Instagram game. She tells her how she has seen her page several times and is obsessed with it. Neena thanks her, and the two talk about their old days.

After the shoot, Archana goes straight to meet her family. She enjoys fun time with husband Parmeet and their sons. Archana teases Parmeet, saying, “Aaj kyu itna pyaar aa raha hai tumhe mujhpe?” Later, Archana shares about her work.
