Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhalia and Sunil Lahiri, who played the roles of Ram, Sita and Laxman respectively, will be seen revealing some unheard stories of their stardom in an upcoming episode of the show.

Bollywood stars would bow in their respect

While hosting the show, Kapil Sharma revealed that Arun Govil (who played Ram) had told him that from commoners to renowned Bollywood artists all would fold their hands and bow in respect treating Arun Govil as Lord Ram.

When former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi invited them

As the show progressed, a few other unheard stories were revealed. Arun Govil revealed that the cast got to know about their popularity after 3 months when they were called by the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi to Delhi for felicitation.

Arun Govil shared a funny incident

That's not all they also divulged other unbelievable experiences from the show. Once, when Arun Govil was crossing the street of Mauritius with his wife, a few people recognized him from Ramayan and they got off their cars and did Sashtang Dandvat Pranam in the middle of the road.

When Deepika had to live her on-screen character in real-life too

Deepika Chikhalia, who became quite popular as goddess Sita, had to live her screen character in real-life too. She shared on the show that she was quite young whilst playing the character of Mata Sita and she had to be in saree both on and off screen to maintain the piousness of the character.
