TV actresses who have been shamed for wearing bikini, revealing clothes after becoming a mother

Women do not have it easy after they become mothers. There is a certain expectation that they should now dress and behave a certain way. However, many defy such dated conventions by being themselves and doing what they like including some of our television actresses. They get trolled for sporting bold clothes and bikinis post motherhood but they continue to reject this conventional mindset. (All photos: Instagram)

The actress has been slammed time and again for wearing short clothes especially after she gave birth to Ziana in 2021. Talking about the same, Charu told ETimes TV, "When you are a mother, there's judgement that you can't wear revealing clothes. Some people comment that 'Jaise jaise divorce ka date paas aa raha hai, waise waise kapde chote hote ja rahe hain'. I used to wear such clothes before as well but then it was fine. But now it's not because I am a single mother. If I am wearing such clothes, it doesn't mean I don't love my daughter."

Debina Bonnerjee gave birth to two baby girls last year. Her pregnancies have been back to back, with the second one being a total surprise. Even Debina gets trolled for wearing outfits that are revealing. From commenting on her sagging breasts to the unflattering fit of the dresses in pics, people advise her in the comments not to wear such clothes anymore.

Shweta Tiwari hasn't had it in easy life. The actress, who has two kids from her unsuccessful marriages, is often slammed for giving her daughter competition by wearing revealing clothes. Her picture with her little son Reyansh where she is seen in a bikini playing with him in the pool was also criticised by many as they felt it's not right for her to expose herself in front of her son.

Sanjeeda posted a pic in a bikini where she can be seen playing with her daughter on one of the beaches of Goa. However, many shamed her for setting a wrong example in front of her daughter. One wrote, "Sharm hayaaa everything is on vacation....Bachho par bhi ganda asarr." Another commented, "Shrm nahi aayi tujhe Sanjeeda bacchi ke samne nangi hote hue (Did you not feel ashamed of being naked in front of your baby girl)?

Hip Hip Hurray fame Shveta Salve is a nomad at heart. The actress loves to live on the beaches and travel. She has always worn boho chic clothes and bikinis and continues to wear them post the birth of her daughter. However, it was her lifestyle habits of smoking and drinking that made many troll her for being a bad mother. Shveta in a long post justified that she isn't someone who's sitting at home jobless and idle, she is a working mother with a successful career and her choices have got nothing to do with how she looks after her kid.

Chhavi Mittal, who underwent surgery for breast cancer, is back to being her fit self. She has posted photos in a bikini on a couple of occasions but it's met with public judgement. While one commented, "Baccho ke saamne bikini pehenkar kya dikati ho yaar @chhavihussein (What do you want to prove by wearing a bikini in front of your kids)?" another wrote, "Is this the decent way to dress for a woman?"

Urvashi Dholakia is a proud mom of two grown-up boys who loves to holiday on the beaches. However, she gets trolled for sporting bikinis and revealing outfits. One wrote with the picture on the right, "Ye pictures tumhare bete bhi dekhte honge kuch soch kar hi post kr liya karo (You should think before posting such pictures as your sons must be looking at it as well)."
