Television actor Krrip Kapur Suri and his wife Simran Kaur, have been in the news for sometime due to their troubled married life. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, and were blessed with a baby girl in 2020, always denied speculations regarding their divorce. However, according to a latest report in TellyChakkar, the couple has been officially divorced.
A source informed the portal, Krrip and his wife Simran had been living apart for a while, and the couple has now legally ended their marriage. The source further informed that Krrip has decided to take complete charge of taking care of their daughter.
Earlier in 2024, there was a strong buzz about the couple facing issues in their marriage. However, Krrip denied the speculations, saying that all couples face issues and claimed that everything was fine between him and his wife.
Earlier in an interview with Bombay Times, Krrip had denied the rumours of trouble in his marriage and had said, "We are unfazed by the rumours of trouble in our marriage. We trust each other immensely and are going strong.”
Recently, Krrip spoke about how actors have multiple opportunities today, and the online streaming projects are keeping actors employed. He added, "Actors are enjoying more opportunities with short-form dramas filmed in a vertical aspect ratio for mobile viewing platforms. This emerging format has rapidly created a new, high-volume job market in the entertainment industry. It is really good to see that every actor is doing something. There is a significant and growing demand for such short steaming stories. From the time I started my career to now, the entertainment industry has changed for good. Actors are enjoying more opportunities and are no more limited. Though the competition is more, the struggle is less compared to past years."
Krrip is also known for featuring in shows like Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan, Hero – Gayab Mode On, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey, Kalash, Uttaran among others.
