Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira–Armaan face an emotional crossroads; Samridhii Shukla says 'Staying apart is the need of the hour'
The latest promo of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has stirred intense anticipation among viewers as a seemingly picture-perfect moment between Abhira and Armaan takes a dramatic turn. An unexpected clash between Dadi Sa and Vidya leaves the family divided, pushing Abhira and Armaan into a tough position where they must individually shoulder emotional responsibilities. While Abhira stands by Dadi Sa, Armaan supports his mother Vidya, raising the question: What will this mean for their relationship?
Speaking about the high-voltage drama, Samridhii Shukla, who essays Abhira, explains the root of the conflict, “During the ghoomar event, an accident takes place, and Vidya believes Kajal purposely put her life in danger. She accuses Kajal of harming her, but Dadi Sa immediately steps in because she knows her daughter would never do such a thing. She calls it a misfortunate incident, not an intentional act.”
She adds that this deep misunderstanding shakes the foundation of the family. “Feeling cornered and unloved, Vidya thinks Dadi Sa is treating her like just a daughter-in-law… Unable to bear the environment, Dadi Sa leaves the house. With the family pushing for legal separation of property, she distributes everything and walks away heartbroken.”
Addressing Abhira and Armaan’s choices, Samridhii clarifies, “It appears Abhira is on Dadi Sa’s side and Armaan is on Vidya’s, but that’s not the truth. Both are trying to handle the situation with maturity. They must temporarily split to support both women, not knowing how long this separation or anger will last.”
On their bond, she adds, “Armaan and Abhira have always relied on their understanding, trust, and unbreakable connection… Staying apart is the need of the hour. Their only aim is to prevent any separation within the family.”
But will their efforts succeed? Can Abhira and Armaan reunite Dadisa and Vidya before the family falls apart for good?
