Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Hina Khan recalls an emotional memory when ‘she cried in the arms’ of her late father

Hina Khan has joined a new social media trend where people are looking back at memories from 2016. Called “2026 is the new 2016,” the trend is bringing back a lot of nostalgia online. The actress shared an old picture with her late father and recalls the time when she hugged him and cried in his arms.

The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress shared a series of photos from the year 2016 and gave fans a glimpse of some unseen memories from her life a decade ago.




In the photos shared by Hina, she is seen posing for a selfie with her late father. In the caption, the actress recalled a moment just before taking the selfie, when she broke down and cried in her father’s arms.

She wrote, “I was very low and cried in his arms right before this selfie..ufff the memory is so fresh..”

Hina shared a series of other photos of her parents from the year 2016. The actress mentioned how they would travel together as a family around the world and make special memories. In one of the photos shared by Hina, she is seen with her then boyfriend and now husband, Rocky Jaiswal. In the picture, they are seen on a busy street in Hong Kong, capturing a candid travel moment from 2016.

She wrote, “Hongkong 2016 Hunt for cherry tomatoes Cravings!”

Sharing another picture of herself and Rocky from Maldives, the actress pointed out that the image was clicked while they were on their first trip to Maldives together. She wrote, “Our first trip to Maldives together”

Another photo shows Hina’s parents seated together on a cogwheel train. The image captured a special nostalgic moment of her family's special travel moment. She also shared a photo from her award night at Macau where she became the only celebrity to win ‘highest number of individual awards.’

The actress also shared a few special moments from the shoot of her iconic show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which made her the household name.

For the uninitiated, the actress was last seen in reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga with husband Rocky Jaiswal. The couple tied the knot last year in an intimate wedding ceremony, after dating each other for 13 years.
