‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ December 29 written update: Poddar family unites to help raise money to win law firm back

The Poddar family is still reeling from their new reality after Krish announced that he sold off the family firm and lost the money he got from it. December 29’s episode begins with Armaan looking over some visiting cards from the Poddar law firm and getting emotional over them.

Armaan convinces Abhira to lead the Poddar family

Abhira and Armaan remain side by side, as she tries to reassure him that she will do anything in her power to help the family get the firm back. Armaan, however, insists that he will focus on the firm, and she should focus on handling the family. Without much hesitation, Abhira agrees to lead the family while her partner deals with getting the family business back.

The scene shifts to Kiara making halwa, though Chachi comes into the kitchen to taunt and call her out, casually saying that the family is better used to Charu’s cooking, dampening her mood. Abhira, on the other hand, tells Manisha not to let Kirar know about all of the trouble that the family seems to be going through.

Armaan bids to get the company back

Armaan goes to negotiate with the new investors to get the family firm back. Kajal also places a bid in the deal and sets the limit to Rs 35 crore. The new investors, however, end up asking for Rs 85 crore instead to sell the firm back. Even though the amount is high, Armaan agrees to the terms, but instead asks them for three months to arrange the entire amount.

The scene shifts to Abhira collecting all of her jewellery to sell off to pay the amount. Manisha and Vidya also offer their jewelry, and Sanjay brings in Kajal’s accessories to sell as well. Tanya also steps forward to contribute, as Sanjay blames Krish for everything, and the family shows their togetherness.

Armaan accepts the help, and Dadi Sa almost gets hit by a car

Dadi Sa almost gets hit by a car in the next scene; however, is saved just in time by her children. Armaan comes home and notices that none of the women of the house are wearing their gold jewellery. Abhira collects everyone’s contributions and offers them to Armaan to raise money to get the firm back. At first, he hesitates, but after a lot of convincing from his family members, he takes the jewelry and the family shares a sweet moment.

The next episode brings in a lot of twists and turns for Abhira and Armaan as two mysterious figures enter their lives. A man is spotted reading a newspaper and tells Abhira, who is nearby, a story about a wealthy woman ending the life of a poor man.

Armaan, on the other hand, is approached by a stranger with a blank cheque and pleads to him that he help him save his daughter. Fans are left wondering about what the next episode will entail, and what will Armaan do next.
