‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ January 26 written update: Maira leaves Abhira heartbroken by teaming up with Vani

The latest episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ begins with Vidya scolding Vani for losing the shoes Kaveri gifted her. After seeing all of this and talking to her parents, Maira admits that she had stolen and hidden the shoes and apologised to Vani. The two girls make up and start practising for their dance, while Abhira urges Vidya to apologise to Vani, as it was not her fault that they could not find her shoes.

Abhir’s concert gets cancelled

The scene shifts to Abhir finding out that his comeback concert has been cancelled, leaving him distraught. Surekha confronts him about the situation and quips that the concert was cancelled because of Kiara’s addiction. This leaves Abhir worried, as he tells Surekha not to tell her. He mentions that if she gets too stressed out, it could affect her health and pregnancy.

Maira changes partners at the end moment

Maira and Vani arrive at the school with Armaan and Abhira, and catch everyone’s attention. Vani and Armaan also gain a lot of praise and attention for their performance, as Armaan is the only father present at the school competition.




Maira sees all of this and gets jealous. She insists that she needs to perform with her father in order to win, and refuses to dance with Abhira, leaving her heartbroken. Abhira puts a smile on her face and says that it is fine. Vani and Abhira dance together, while Armaan dances with his daughter.

Later, Vani and Maira talk as Vani thanks her for letting her dance with Abhira. She mentions that it felt as if she were dancing with her mother. Maira gets even more jealous and mentions that Abhira is not her mother. She also tells Vani strictly that after the competition is over, she will leave for boarding school.

Tanya supports Sanjay

At home, Tanya and Krish start arguing about her latest moves regarding Anshuman’s company. Tanya stands by Sanjay’s side and tells him that she is okay with handing him the company reins.

The promo for the next episode shows Maira deeply affected by Abhira and Vani’s bond and worries that her mother loves Vani more than her.
