'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' written update 27th March: Disha chooses family over Aryan

'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' opens with Arman telling Disha that her family's happiness lies in her happiness with Aryan. Abhira, meanwhile, is working on Damyanti, trying to convince her not to let this situation destroy Aryan and Disha's relationship. Damyanti tells her to leave, but Abhira does not move. She points out plainly that if Aryan and Arman get caught trying to help Disha, Damyanti stands to lose far more than she gains. Krish, surprisingly, takes Abhira's side.Damyanti catches Aryan and Arman before the plan can go any further and turns her fury on Disha for attempting to elope. Aryan tells Disha she knows how much he loves her and asks her to come with him. Krish backs him up, telling her she knows Aryan will never leave her side. Arman asks her to think about Aryan and what she is giving up. Disha's mother steps in with a harder question: will she leave the hand that raised her? Arman calls it emotional blackmail. Damyanti gives Disha a stark ultimatum: her family or Aryan. Disha chooses her family. Aryan stands there unable to process what he has just heard. Krish, watching Aryan's pain, tells him to stop thinking about a woman who does not have the courage to stand by him. Aryan refuses to hear a word against Disha. Krish pushes further, pointing out that Disha could not even tell her family where she first met him. Aryan gets angry. Abhira goes after Krish for what he said, and the two of them argue until Arman steps in and silences everyone, telling them the matter will be discussed later. He says he has somewhere to be and leaves. Abhira knows immediately: he is going to the garage to find Myra.Arman arrives to find Mukti at the door, who tells him Myra does not want to meet him and deflects his every attempt to get to her. Myra hides under a blanket, listening. Mukti then says something that stops Arman: she tells him he seems familiar, that she has never seen her own father because her mother never speaks about him, but that she feels a strange connection with Arman. Arman tells her quietly that her mother has raised her well, but the weight of the moment sits on him heavily as he walks away.Abhira has left a letter for Myra. When Mukti asks Myra why she keeps hurting Arman, pointing out that he clearly did not sleep all night, Myra says she does not want to hurt him but is failing to protect him from getting trapped. Mukti asks her who she is trying to protect him from. Myra tells her this is the most complex relationship she has had and the first time she has ever disagreed with Arman. When she reads Abhira's letter, in which Abhira asks her to move on, she sits quietly and wonders: who can truly bring happiness into Arman's life?Back home, Vidya tells Aryan that Disha is already being prepared for an engagement with someone else. Aryan tells Abhira he made a mistake by loving someone who cannot leave her parents. Abhira stops him and asks him to think about it differently: she reminds him that Disha was willing to elope only if he was willing to leave his family, too. Aryan was not. The realization lands.
