The love birds met each other on the sets of daily soap Mahasati, which was produced by Sagar's home banner. Eventually, the duo shared a great rapport and turned best buddies. However, after nearly ten years of knowing each other, Sagar and Deepa decided to take their friendship to the next step and made their relationship official by announcing it on their respective social media handles. They got hitched the previous year (2022).
