Kannada TV actress Neetha Ashok undergoes ankle surgery after an injury on the sets of Naa Ninna Bidalaare
Popular Kannada television actress Neetha Ashok, known for her role as Ambika in the hit serial Naa Ninna Bidalare, has undergone ankle surgery following an injury sustained on the show’s set.
The incident occurred recently while filming Naa Ninna Bidalare. Neetha reportedly twisted her ankle during a scene, and medical examination revealed the injury was more serious than initially expected. Doctors confirmed that she had fractured her ankle, making surgical intervention necessary.
The surgery was successfully completed, and Neetha is currently resting and recovering. In an emotional update shared on her Instagram, she explained that what began as a minor twist escalated into a fracture due to the full weight of her body putting pressure on the injured foot. She expressed gratitude for the support she has received from fans and well-wishers.
“I’m glad to share that the surgery was successful,” Neetha wrote. “I’m now on the path to recovery. Thank you all for your concern, prayers and affection. I’ll be taking some rest — please miss me a little! I won’t be as active as before for now.”
Because of her injury, Neetha will be taking a temporary break from Naa Ninna Bidalare. As she plays a pivotal role in the serial, viewers and the production team are watching closely to see how the storyline will be handled in her absence.
Neetha Ashok has previously appeared in other television serials such as Yashode and Neelambari, and has also featured in Kannada films including Vikrant Rona. Her performance as Ambika has earned considerable recognition among television audiences.
Fans across social media have been sending messages of encouragement, wishing her a swift recovery and expressing hope for her return to the screen soon.
