Manasaare's Priyanka Chincholi: My fiance doesn't watch my show as I cry a lot in it

Priyanka Chincholi, who recently got engaged to the love of her life on Valentine's day, is head over heels in love with her fiance Rakesh. The actress seems to be enjoying the new stage of life to the fullest and is eagerly waiting for the next stage. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, Priyanka opens up about her love life and much more...

"I got to know Rakesh when I came across a dog rescue NGO where Praveen, the owner of the NGO, introduced me to Anita aunty. I happened to get in touch with her and eventually, developed a great bond with her. At the same time, I shared that my mother was keen on searching an alliance for me. That is when Anitha aunty mentioned about one of her relatives, who were also searching for an alliance. I spoke to my mother about the same. She was ok with it. Later, we exchanged numbers and then got to know each other more.

She adds saying, "On the occasion of New Year 2021, he proposed to me in a very romantic manner and I happily said yes to him. In fact, I was impressed and just could not hold my emotions."

Talking more about her fiance, Priyanka says, "Rakesh is a very nice person. He is very supportive and encourages me in everything I do. Although he is not from the entertainment industry, he has watched me onscreen. But he does not watch my show right now because I cry a lot in it. He does not like to see me like that."

"Yes, I have finally found the love of my life. I am happy we exchanged rings after seeking blessings from the elders. We decided to exchange rings on Valentine's day. Getting engaged on Valentine's day was more of celebrating love for us," avers the actress.

The actress recently shot for her engagement scene in the show 'Manasaare' and feels, "I shot for Manasaare engagement scenes a few days before my real engagement. I feel it was a coincidence that my reel and real engagement happened almost at the same time. Shooting for my reel engagement was more like a rehearsal for me."

"I share a great bond with Swathi ma'am. She is someone who is close to my heart. Swathi ma'am plays an important role in my life. She has not only been my mother onscreen but also the same in real life. In fact, she was the one who was looking out for space for my engagement."

"We are just engaged and enjoying this phase right now. Talks about our marriage are on between our family members. We might get married sometime soon. But, yes, I will continue to act post my marriage too," she signs out.
