New Kannada daily soap Maryade Ramanna Set to premiere on May 25
A new emotional family drama titled Maryade Ramanna is all set to make its way to Kannada television screens soon. The serial promises a blend of family values, emotions, romance, and drama, centred around two individuals who come from completely different worlds.
The story follows Ramanna, a fearless wrestler from Malligepura who is known for his strength and determination inside the wrestling arena. While he is powerful and bold in public, Ramanna is deeply devoted to his mother Jayamma and values her words above everything else. To protect his mother’s dignity and uphold the family’s honour, Ramanna takes a vow to remain unmarried for life. His promise and commitment become the foundation of his life.
In contrast, Aishwarya, the female lead, is a wealthy, modern, and ambitious young woman who dreams of building an independent future and eventually settling abroad. Brought up with immense love and care by her father, Aishwarya is confident, outspoken, and determined to live life on her own terms. Though she appears soft-spoken and graceful, she possesses a strong and fiery personality.
The narrative takes an intriguing turn when Aishwarya enters Ramanna’s life. Their completely opposite ideologies, lifestyles, and dreams create emotional conflicts and unexpected situations. Whether Ramanna will continue to honour the promise made to his mother and how Aishwarya’s presence changes his life forms the heart of the serial.
The show features Chetan Chandra as Ramanna and Jeevitha Vasishta as Aishwarya in the lead roles. The ensemble cast also includes Veena Sundar, Sundar, Vidya Murthy, Srikant Heblikar, Soumyalatha, Vitthal Kamath, and Yadu Girish in important roles.
Maryade Ramanna is set to premiere on May 25 and will air daily at 9 PM.
