Bigg Boss Kannada 7: Grand premiere to the first eviction, highlights of week 1

The first week of the latest 7^th season of popular reality TV series Bigg Boss Kannada has been quite eventful. From the grand premiere of the season to the eviction of Gurulinga Swamiji, here’s a look at the highlights of week 1 in the BB house.

Bigg Boss Kannada season 7 was launched on October 13. Host Kiccha Sudeep welcomed the 18 contestants who entered the BB house this season and wished them luck on their journey.

Bhoomi Shetty, Kishen and Prathap were chosen as the candidates for the captaincy activity. Bhoomi Shetty eventually emerged as the first captain of the season.

Post the nomination procedure, Bigg Boss announced Chaithra Kotoor, Chaitra Vasudevan, Gurulinga Swamiji, Ravi Belagere and Raju Talakoti as the nominated contestants. The makers of the show have decided to have eviction right from the first week.

The popular writer-journalist entered the house as a guest. However, he was rushed to the hospital due to a medical emergency. He later returned to the house after having a thorough medical check-up.

Bigg Boss asked the contestants to unveil the envelopes that were given to them by the host during the premiere. Bigg Boss then asked them to guess the real life secrets of the housemates.

The housemates got a chance to pay an ode to their parents and narrate the key moments of their lives. They got emotional as each one of them talked about the memories with their respective parents.

Host Kiccha Sudeep welcomed the contestants to the first ‘Pachayati’ of the season. He interacted with the participants about a few incidents in the house.

Gurulinga Swamiji became the first contestant to get evicted from the house.

After spending a week in the Bigg Boss house, Ravi Belagere, who entered the show as a guest, bid an emotional farewell to all his near and dear housemates.
