The entry of controversial speaker Rajith Kumar into Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 house was indeed a shocker for Malayali audience. The Botany professor shot to fame with his controversial statements against women. Even though the contestant managed to gain huge popularity with his performance in the house, Rajith Kumar is still criticized for some of his 'misogynistic' and 'pseudo-scientific' declarations. Here are some of the most controversial statements made by Rajith Kumar before his entry to the Bigg Boss house.

​10 minutes v/s 10 months

In a session at Trivandrum Women's college in 2013, Rajith Kumar commented that 'All men including me, just need 10 minutes to inject sperm into a woman's uterus, but she has to carry the baby in her womb for 10 months'. This triggered a huge controversy and Rajith was slammed for his misogynistic comment.

​Women shouldn't jump, their uterus will be misplaced

In the same session, Rajith said that woman shouldn't act like a man and challenge to do what a does. ''If you try to jump like a man, be very careful, your uterus will be misplaced,'' the professor advised the young women.

​Women wearing jeans give birth to transgenders(1)

In another session in 2018, while talking about women wearing jeans, Rajith said women who wear jeans are prone to give birth to transgender babies.

"A woman who dresses up like a man. What will be the character of the child this woman gives birth to? The name of these children is ‘transgender’ or ‘napumsakam’, Hijra," he said in the speech.

​Rebellious parents and autistic babies

Earlier, in another session at Kasargod, Rajith made a controversial statement about Autism and cerebral palsy. "Rebellious parents will give birth to autistic babies and babies with several mental problems which also includes cerebral palsy," Rajith reportedly said in the speech. This also triggered a huge controversy and Rajith was slammed for such statements.

​Government Denouncement

As a result of the above controversial comments, the government of Kerala reportedly denounced Rajith Kumar for his 'misogynist and gender insensitive' statements.
