From her morphed pictures circulating in WhatsApp to why she stopped acting; 'That Devil Kunju' aka Anagha reveals her real story in 'The Reel Story'

That Devil Kunju aka Anagha is one of the known faces for social media fans. From her videos recreating actor Indran's iconic scenes to her dance videos, she clearly knows how to entertain her fans. In the recent episode of the OTT show, 'The Reel Story', Anagha made some shocking revelations about her eight-year-long journey in the cyber world.

Undoubtedly, it is her username that attracts every user to Anagha's page. Talking about the unique name, 'That Devil Kunju', she said, "When I checked social media, most of the profiles had the names angel, Jesus, etc. So, I wanted to go a bit different, so I thought why not Devil? Kunju is my pet name, so added that too. I initially wanted to keep it 'Cute Devil Kunju', but 'That Devil Kunju' sounded perfect".

Anagha became a popular name after some of the videos lip-syncing iconic comedy scenes of actor Indrans went viral. Starting from Musically to TikTok, she has been a sensation on every popular social media app. Currently, she has more than half a million followers on Instagram.

Though she is overwhelmed by the love showered on her online, Anagha also shared one of her bad experiences too.

"My face morphed with someone else's bodies started circulating on WhatsApp and Telegram groups. My family panicked what if it reached any of our relatives? We a group of 20 girls, from different places faced the same issue. We were all sad. Together, we filed cyber complaints and even wrote to Kerala CM, but no use," she said.

Anagha also narrated one of the incidents where she was taken aback learning about a netizen who used to share her morphed pictures.

"I noticed a user sharing my morphed pictures online back to back. I questioned them about it and I was shocked to know that it was a young girl. She told me that she did it to get a reply from me. I can't belive the extent to which people would go to get attention," she shared.

In the same episode, she also shared about one of the ill experiences she had faced while going for a shoot.

"I was so passionate about acting, and still I am. But, that incident changed me. I went for a shoot with some known to me. He said that it would be a full-day shoot and informed me that had arranged accommodation too. At night, he took me to the room on his bike saying that some of his friends, including a girl would be there in the same place. We went to the room and he requested to freshen up which I agreed to. Later, he got into the room and lay in the bed. I started panicking and texted all the contacts asking whether anyone was nearby. Later, he initiated a conversation asking whether ladies wear undergarments while sleeping. When I didn't entertain the question, he asked me whether girls mast****te. I got really uncomfortable with his talks and I left the room saying I will sleep in the hall. Till 6 AM I stayed awake updating my friends and this man slept peacefully in the bed. There I ended my passion for acting. Ever since then, I haven't gone for any shoots, I am happy posing to my own camera," she said.

Though she had met many celebrities as a part of collaborations and promotions, Anagha says that meeting GV Prakash and Harish Kalyan was one of her best moments. She cherished traveling to Chennai alone for the collaboration.
