Happy Birthday Mohanlal: Times when the superstar wowed fans in Bigg Boss Malayalam 3

Superstar Mohanlal is celebrating his 61st birthday today (May 21). Besides his tremendous performances in Indian cinema, the actor got closer to the telly audiences with the show Bigg Boss Malayalam. Mohanlal has not only won hearts with his charm but also unleashed his other side on the show. On his birthday, here's a quick look at times when host Mohanlal had wowed the telly audiences.

In one of the weekend episodes, the host was seen warning contestants Firoz Khan and Anoop Krishnan who engaged in a verbal spat in front of him. "Why am I standing here? I will leave, you guys continue with your fight. Don't mess with me. I know how to react mercilessly," a visibly annoyed Mohanlal told the two contestants.

Host Mohanlal's surprise has left Anoop in happy tears. In one of the episodes, Anoop Krishnan was upset when inmate Bhagyalakshmi rejected his artwork. In the following weekend episode, the same artwork was seen in host Mohanlal's hand and the superstar said he would cherish it. Anoop was overwhelmed by the sweet gesture of the host. He fell on the floor and thanked the host.

In one of the weekend episodes, host Mohanlal reprimanded contestants Firoz Khan, Sajina and Michelle for breaking his trust and revealing things that happened outside the house.

"What was the deal we had? Don't you value my words, should I just stand like a monkey here? I don't need your apology. If you don't respect my words, how will I respect you? You will have to take a punishment," the host lashed out at the trio. Further, the host punished them by directly nominating them to elimination.

In one of the episodes, the actor left everyone surprised with his entry as Georgekutty, his iconic character from the blockbuster 'Drishyam'.

Mohanlal gave Firoz a dressing down in one of the episodes. Addressing his attitude issues, Mohanlal said, "You said you are not afraid of anyone and you can't obey the rules. If it is so hard for you to follow the rules of the show, pack your bags and come to me. Don't you dare mess with me, I have all rights to make you pay for it."

Mohanlal gave masks to both Sajina and Firoz adding that it will filter their talk for the next 24 hours.

In connection with a verbal spat between contestants Sandhya Manoj and Manikuttan, the host apologised to the former on behalf of Manikuttan. He said, "I was upset to hear that comment from Manikuttan. Even now, I am not sure about his stance on this issue. So, being an artist myself or someone who represents a fraternity, I apologise to you."

Sandhya was left teary-eyed with the superstar's gesture.

In the recent episode, the host lashed out at Kidilam Firoz for his inappropriate comment on Dimpal's physical condition. The host emphasised that someone like Firoz should be empathetic towards Dimpal.

Further, Mohanlal gave Dimpal a chance to make a decision on Kidilam Firoz' case. The host said she can decide whether the contestant should stay in the house or not.

The actor proved that he is a great storyteller, too, in one of the recent episodes. The host had narrated a ghost story which left the contestants stunned. He recalled an incident in which one of his friends had witnessed the presence of a spirit during a train journey. With his realistic and engaging narration, the actor made the story more convincing to the housemates.

In one of the recent episodes, the actor stunned viewers with his remarkable statement on love. Discussing Rithu's 'one-sided love', the actor said that being loved is a blessing but that cannot stop one from loving someone else. "You can't deny my love," the actor said. He also quipped that he should find someone once the show is over.
