However, Malayalam TV celebrities have always been at the forefront of voicing against it. Here are some artists who chose to react to cyberbullying.

Singer and Bigg Boss Malayalam fame Abhirami Suresh also raised her voice against cyber-attacks recently. After penning a note about the online abuse her family is facing, Abhirami also shared an emotional video narrating their ordeal. In the video, she also mentioned that she will be soon taking legal action if the attacks continue.

Badai Bungalow fame and social media influencer, Lakshmi Menon gained attention with one of her befitting replies to a netizen who reportedly made a sleazy comment to one of her posts. In the video shared on Lakshmi's online profile, the actress shared that she had lodged a complaint against the man with Dubai police. However, she withdrew the same after the netizen apologized to her.

Anchor and Bigg Boss Malayalam fame Shalini Nair hit back at a netizen who allegedly sent her sleazy messages online asking for sexual favours. Sharing a set of videos online, Shalini spoke about her ordeal with her followers. In the video, she mentioned that she had faced such ill experiences earlier, but it is sad that people are still approaching even after appearing on a public platform like Bigg Boss. Neeyum Njanum's Sandra aka Lekshmy Nandan has reacted to a few pictures and videos of hers that were doing the rounds on social media allegedly portraying her as an escort. In the latest video that she shared on her social networking handle, Lekshmy informs her fans about the issue and shows the video which is circulating on social media. She mentioned that she was 'speechless' when her father informed her about the same after his colleague sent him the video. Further in the video, she emphasized that it is important for a woman to react to such 'atrocities' and added that she will take legal action as well.

Aswathy Sreekanth, who is pregnant with her second baby, shared a picture of hers on social media. One of the users commented on the picture saying, 'Super B**bs' and her reply for the same became a sensation lately. "Yes, it should be super. Because I have to nurse a baby for two years! As we are pouring our own life-soul, not only mine, it is super for all women, including your mother's," reads the translation of Aswathy's reply.
