Akshay Mudawadkar on Jai Jai Swami Samarth completing 750 episodes: Not a single day goes by when I step out of the house and no one comes to meet me
Actor Akshay Mudawadkar's TV show Jai Jai Swami Samarth recently completed its 750 episodes. The devotional show has been entertaining the audience by showcasing the Leelas and teaching of Swami to the audience. Akshay recently shared his experience of being a part of the journey and spoke about the response he has been getting since the show's launch.
Akshay spoke about how he has been receiving responses from the viewers for the last 2.5 years and said, "Mmore than 750 episodes, 2.5 years of journey, countless experiences, blessings of the elders, love of the little ones and they call me as Swami Ajoba! Never in my dream did I think that all this would come to my side. If I would have gotten only 1-2 of these things as an artist, I would be happy but today, by Swami's grace, I have received so much that even saying this brings tears of joy. Not a day goes by when I step out of the house and no one comes to meet me. Sometimes kids, aged people, college-going kids, be it a hospital, railway station, or airport, wherever I go, people meet me and show their love."
When asked about his experience of visiting Swami Samarth's Maharaj Bhoomi Akkalkot and he said, "I learned a lot in this journey and started looking for an opportunity to change myself as a person. I started examining where we are going wrong as human beings and trying to overcome those things and improve. I have been hearing about Swami since childhood but now I started seeing Swami very closely, and I started experiencing him more. Whenever I visit Akkalkot, I feel like staying alone for 2-3 hours, no one should talk to me, and I want to feel the surroundings, where Swami has lived, wherever he used to walk, and I want to sit there and ask many questions to Swami. My favorite place in Akkalkot is the Ram Mandir at Guru Mandir. I feel like sitting on the steps there for hours and looking at the cows sitting peacefully eating grass in front. Swami says "hum gaya nahi zinda hai" and indeed this experience comes when one goes to Akkalkot, feeling that Swami is still there."
Akshay spoke about the TV show Jai Jai Swami Samarth completing 750 episodes and said, "What and how much to say? Swami has given everything, whatever one wants as an artist, recognition, fame, respect, and most importantly the satisfaction of working. To start my career today with the role of Swami is actually a blessing. All I can say is that I am just an artist who is just trying to convey his Leela to all of you through the role of Swami."
