Bigg Boss Marathi 6 finale: Genelia Deshmukh gets emotional as Abhishek Bachchan praises Riteish Deshmukh; says 'If you don’t cry with pride after watching the film, I will quit acting'
Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6 grand finale became a star studded affair with Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Genelia Dsouza gracing the episode. The two came to their upcoming Marathi film, Raja Shivaji. Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia and Abhishek Bachchan appeared during the grand finale and brought smiles on the faces of the audiences with their bond. Genelia Deshmukh has not only acted in the film but is also the co-producer of the film. During the episode, the actress got teary eyed.
During his appearance Abhishek first pulled Riteish's leg and remove his ear piece. He himself announced Genelia's entry and invited on the stage. Later, he was all praise for Riteish's direction. Abhishek Bachchan revealed it was Riteish Deshmukh’s dream to make a film on Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Abhishek Bachchan later spoke about his bond with Riteish Deshmukh and said, "I’ve known him since 2001. We first worked together on Zameen, and we were shooting in Latur. Riteish’s brother Amit had made all the arrangements for us there. During that time, I asked him what you wanted to do apart from acting, and he said he wanted to make films. When I asked him about the subject, he told me that his dream was to make a film on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”

Abhishek Bachchan said he was very impressed by Riteish Deshmukh on the sets of Raja Shivaji. Abhishek shared, “He has shown the life and work of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj very beautifully. If you don’t cry with pride after seeing this film, I will quit acting. He has made a brilliant film.”
“Every actor has a wish list of directors, and Riteish was on mine. When he told me about the role of Sambhaji Raje, it helped me understand the character better. He treated every character with the respect they deserved,” added Abhishek.

Genelia, who was also present on the stage could not hold back her tears and got emotional.
Riteish Deshmukh said Abhishek Bachchan honoured him by being a part of Raja Shivaji, and that he will always be grateful.
