The shootings of TV shows and films were put on hold from March to control the spread of the coronavirus. However, now shootings have resumed with a new set of rules and regulations. The last three months have not been good for some TV actors as well as shows. Take a look at the popular TV shows that unfortunately got terminated during the lockdown due to various reasons. Popular Marathi folk reality show Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza that showcased various group performances on-screen went off air recently. The show's shoot resumed during the lockdown and also aired a few fresh episodes but later the makers of the show decided to wrap up the show. The show used to feature group and mob performances which is impossible in the COVID-19 situation and reportedly it was one of the reasons behind makers wrapping up the show. (PC - Instagram)

Among various TV shows, Mrs. Mukhyamantri is widely liked by the telly audience. It starred Tejas Barve and Amruta Dhongade who won a million hearts despite being newcomers. Marathi TV show Ratris Khel Chale has succeeded to entertain the audience with its thrilling and mysterious content. Madhav Abhyankar essayed the negative character Anna who is madly in love with Shevanta and had an extramarital affair with her by killing her husband brutally. The story of Navari Mile Navryala revolved around a family that is based in Marathwada, Maharashtra. Surekha Kudachi played the character of a mother who tried to find perfect brides for her four sons. The story set in a village in Marathwada and took you through all of the misconceptions, beliefs and lifestyles of rural Maharashtra. The storyline of the show also focused on the serious issues of Marathwada like infrastructure and water crisis and how the localites deal with these on an everyday basis. The show went off air. The popular family TV show H.M. Bane T.M. Bane went off-air recently. The show entertained the audience for 2 years with its simple subject. Though the fans are still upset with the news but the show will be back on screens with a new season soon.
