Like other entertainment industries in the country, Marathi industry hasn’t been able to stay unscathed from the increasing COVID-19 cases. Tula Pahate Re actor Subodh Bhave his wife Manjiri and elder son Kanha tested positive for Coronavirus. Subodh confirmed the same on his Instagram and wrote, "Me, Manjiri, and my elder son Kanha have all corona positive. We have quarantined ourselves at home. Abhijeet Kelkar had recently tested COVID-19 positive on the sets of Singing Star. The actor has now completely recovered from the virus and is soon going to resume shooting for Singing Star. Actress Amruta Pawar, who was playing the role of Jijamata, mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the show 'Swarajya Janani Jijamata', tested positive for COVID-19 recently. Popular playback singer Rohit Raut who is also a participant of the celebrity singing show Singing Star, also tested positive of COVID-19. Rohit also shared a video on his Instagram and informed his fans about it. He wrote, "Hello, I hope all of you are safe ! Bigg Boss Marathi fame Anil Thatte had also been tested positive for Coronavirus a few days ago. Anil Thatte confirmed the same with a video shared on his social networking handle. He said in the video, "I am currently in hospital and have contracted corona. For the past several days, I've been working from home to prevent corona infection. But I came to the conclusion that it would happen when it has to happen. What to say if Corona is going to happen despite all this care. Now Corona's concerns are over. The doctor also said that despite diabetes and other ailments, I am in a good condition." Anil added that he has decided to donate his plasma after recovery. (PC - Instagram)

Actor and comedian Juilee Joglekar, who is seen mentoring Anshuman Vichare in Singing Star of late, tested positive of Covid19. The singer has now completely recovered and informed her fans about it.
