Kayal tops the TRP charts, here's a look at Top 5 Tamil TV shows

Tamil TV show Kayal is one emotional drama which got a huge Tamil TV audience. It is spotted in first place. The serial stars Chaitra Reddy, Sanjeev Karthik, Meena Kumari, Abinavya, Avinash Ashok, and Muthuraman in the lead roles.

Vanathai Pola is back to the second place. The story is about the close bond between Chinrasu and his sister Thulasi. Their parents died when they were young. Both were raised by their grandmother. Chinraasu is on the lookout for a perfect groom for Thulasi. However, she repeatedly rejects potential grooms as she doesn't want to leave her brother. As fate would have it, she falls in love with Chinrasu's nemesis, the Panchayat board officer.

In the third place it is Baakiyalakshmi. The recent wedding sequence in the show managed to keep the show in the third spot. The show was the topper of the previous week.

The most-watched TV 'Pandian Store’ continues to be in the fourth place respectively in the rating charts. The serial is all about the bonding of the four brothers who run the small professional store. The emotional drama has Sujitha, Stalin, Kumaran Thangarajan, Venkat Renganathan, Hema, Rajkumar, Saravana Vickram, VJ Deepika, Lakshmanapandian, and Sheela.

Karthigai Deepam, starring Karthikeyan, and Arthika as the lead, is the new entry to the TRP chart and also spot in the fifth position. The story revolves around Deepa, a young, talented girl who started a journey to prove herself and create an identity for herself as a singer. She faces humiliation because of her skin colour. She is always glad that her complexion is the same as Lord Karthikeyan’s. But her life takes a turn after marriage when she tries to make a career in music and meets a lot of problems.
