Accomplished actor-TV host Nagarjuna Akkineni and Amala Akkineni are one of the most adorable couples of the T’town. As they celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary yesterday (June 11), indeed a quiet celebration amid the COVID-19 pandemic, here’s a quick look at the romantic pictures of this adorable couple.

Nagarjuna and Amala got married in 1992. The two shared screen space in films like Shiva and Nirnayam. A few years later the charming actor reportedly proposed to Amala, who is at the peak of her career, in one of their trips to the US and she said ‘yes’. The couple look made for each other in these pictures.

The actors share a sparkling on-screen chemistry and that reflects in their off-screen appearances, too, and these pictures are proof of it. No wonder, the shutterbugs love them.

Amala Mukherjee was born in Kolkata to a Bengali Indian Navy officer and an Irish mother. She was a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and was also at the top of her game in the showbiz world when she decided to get married to Nagarjuna, who was a divorcee then. Despite challenges, their marriage stood the test of time and it has been 28 years of togetherness for the couple.

Despite their hectic schedules in their respective careers, Nagarjuna and Amala always manage to squeeze time for a romantic holiday and family vacations are a routine for the Akkineni family. Nagarjuna, Amala and their son Akhil along with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have recently holidayed in Spain on the occasion of Nagarjuna’s 60th birthday.
