Bigg Boss Telugu season 6 is just a few hours away from its premiere on September 4 (tomorrow). It is yet another much-anticipated gala launch of Bigg Boss Telugu with the host introducing the contestants and locking them up in the BB house. Ahead of the grand premiere, here's what we know about the upcoming season so far:

The makers are ensuring the season begins on a high note. As per the tradition, the grand premiere episode will have a stylish entry from the host, a tour of the BB house, which got a new makeover, looking all the more vibrant and opulent. Some staggering performances by the contestants entering the BB house and the host's banter with them is a must watch. The recent teasers of the premiere gives a glimpse of the launch event and its visual extravaganza.

The makers have shot for BB house tour and the performances of the contestants well in advance this time and a teaser was released four days prior to the launch as well. Host Nagarjuna will shoot for a few portions of the premiere today (Saturday) as well. He will lock the contestants in the BB house today flagging off the season.

Nearly 20 contestants were zeroed in for the grand premiere, as per sources close to the show. This season's lineup seems to be focused on a healthy mix of yesteryear sensations, film and TV personalities and social media influencers within the stipulated budgets. Latest reports reveal that this season's lineup has famed actors of Jabardasth fame, prominent singers, and a celeb couple entering the house for the first time. BB Telugu is featuring a celeb couple after Varun Sandesh and Vithika Sheru in Bigg Boss Telugu season 3.

Common Man is backThis season is already different from the previous seasons. Season 6 will welcome common man after nearly four seasons. Host Nagarjuna has confirmed the same with a teaser soon after the conclusion of the OTT season 'Bigg Boss Non-Stop'. If insider reports are to be believed, a social media manager along with two BB Telugu reviewers were roped in for this season. However, an official confirmation can be expected only in the premiere episode. Ganesh was the common man contestant in Bigg Boss Telugu season 2 hosted by Nani in 2018.

Bigg Boss Telugu season 6, which will premiere on Sunday (September 4) at 6PM, will air at 10PM on weekdays and 9PM on weekends. The makers have experimented with the time slot of Bigg Boss Telugu by airing season 5 at 10PM, an hour later than the previous seasons. A section of netizens has been demanding the makers to reschedule the show to 9PM on weekdays like seasons 3 and 4. However, the TV channel is airing season 6 at 10PM.

BB Telugu host Nagarjuna Akkineni, who is returning to host season 6, has hiked his fees for this season. If insider reports are to be believed, the celebrity contestants have been picked up within stipulated budgets when compared to the previous seasons.

Unlike the previous seasons, Bigg Boss Telugu season 6 will have a new show to interact with evicted contestants and also entertain fans with the daily buzz around the show. Interestingly, former contestants Ariyana Glory and Shiva have teamed up for this new show 'BB Cafe' which will air throughout the season. The latest teaser of the show is creating a lot of buzz on the internet.
