Bigg Boss Telugu season 3: Venkatesh to Anushka, actors who are speculated to host the show

Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 is just a few months away. Meanwhile, the speculations over the host of the show and the expected contestants are also rife. From Renu Desai to social media sensation Jahnavi, many were rumoured to be part of the season 3. And here’s a look at the speculated hosts of the forthcoming third edition of the controversial reality show.

It isn’t an exaggeration to say that fans simply loved Jr NTR as the host of the debut season of Bigg Boss Telugu. The charm, composure and command that Jr NTR aka Tarak displayed was seamless. And this is one of the key reasons why the makers want him back on the show. Tarak commands a huge following in the masses and Bigg Boss just took him a notch closer. Given Nani’s not-so-impressive stint as the host in the second season, fans naturally wanted Tarak to be back on the show.

Chiranjeevi, the Megastar of Telugu cinema, who made his Telugu TV debut with Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu season 3, was also rumoured to be the host of the upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Though he can be an inevitable choice for hosting the popular show, Chiranjeevi is currently occupied with his films. Moreover, neither the actor nor his team responded to this. It is very unlikely that Chiranjeevi will return to TV with Bigg Boss Telugu 3, as per industry onlookers.

He is one of the most coveted actors in the industry with fans all over. He easily comes across as the most chilled out stars in the league despite his celebrated work and popularity. He is seldom seen on TV until very recently on No. 1 Yaari with Rana season 2. But he appeared as a special guest for the grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu season 2 hosted by Nani. Venkatesh even presented the trophy to Kaushal Manda. This triggered rumours soon after the show that Venkatesh shall host the third season. However, Venkatesh is rather more focused on his films and other commitments than his TV debut.

Model-actor-entrepreneur Kaushal Prasad Manda, the winner of the second season of Bigg Boss Telugu, was also rumoured to be the host of the most anticipated season 3. Kaushal earned fandom beyond expectations with his stint in Bigg Boss. He is even carrying out his philanthropic activities through Kaushal Army, his fan club. Given his newfound popularity, he was also rumoured to be the host of the forthcoming third edition of the controversial reality show.

Besides his illustrious career in movies, Nagarjuna Akkineni left a mark on Telugu television with his debut TV show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. The Telugu version of Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati took him close to the masses and he carved a niche with his signature charm and panache. With names like Jr NTR and Venkatesh ruled out from the race, Nagarjuna has been apparently approached and he is likely to sign up for the show too. However, an official confirmation is awaited on this.

The latest name in the space is actress Anushka. The bubbly actress of Baahubali fame is missing from action on the silver screen from a while. But she is back in the news with speculations that she is being considered as the host for Bigg Boss Telugu season 3. If this turns out to be true, Anushka will be remembered as the first female superstar to have hosted Bigg Boss on Indian television. Well, this can be a promising proposition for the show too. It remains to be seen if the actress signs up for the lucrative offer.
