Amid growing speculations of actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are rife lately, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has now taken to her Twitter handle to hit back at a news report claiming that her PR team has fabricated the dating rumours. The report claims that Naga Chaitanya's fans are not happy with Samantha and her PR team for sparking rumours against him.

Samantha in her tweet lashed out at the report and mentioned how it 'must be true' when there is a rumour on a girl but when there is rumour on a boy, it might have been 'planted by a girl'. Adding that she and her ex husband Naga Chaitanya have 'clearly moved on', Samantha advised them to 'grow up', 'move on' and focus on their work and families.

When Samantha recently shared a picture of herself with her pet dog, Saasha on social media, from one of her workout sessions, a Twitter user trolled her saying, ‘She will end up dying alone with cats and dogs'.

Samantha hit back with a simple yet befitting reply. She wrote, "I would consider myself lucky (sic)." The user soon deleted the comment after receiving from Samantha's fans.

Samantha has made headlines yet again last month in May as rumours were rife that she along with her co-star Vijay Deverakonda met with an accident while shooting for their upcoming Telugu film in Kashmir. The production house has soon dismissed the rumours and clarified that Samantha and Vijay have successfully returned to Hyderabad from Kashmir.

Samantha has opened up about her own struggle with mental health issues as she spoke the importance of mental health at the 'Psychiatry at your doorstep' initiative of Roshini Trust and Datla Foundation. Being in the spotlight for issues in her personal life, Samantha shared how she has handled them with the help of friends and some professional help. She said, "There should be no inhibitions about seeking help when you are mentally disturbed. In my case, I was able to overcome my mental health issues only with the help of my counselors and friends."

Samantha lashed out at trolls on her bold green gown that she adorned at a recent award ceremony.

In a lengthy note that she shared on her recent Instagram stories, Samantha urged everyone to 'stop judging a woman based on hemlines and necklines' at least in 2022. She also urged everyone to 'turn the judgment inwards' and rather focus on 'bettering' oneself.

She wrote, "As a woman, I bear firsthand knowledge of what it means to be judged. We judge women based on what they wear , their race, education, social standing, appearance, skin tone and the list goes on and on. Making snap judgements about a person simply based on the clothes they wear is quite literally the easiest thing one can do.

Now that we're in the year 2022- can we finally stop judging a woman based on the hemlines & necklines she adorns and focus instead on bettering ourselves?

Turning that judgement inward and training it on one's own self is evolution! Projecting our ideals on someone else never did anyone any good ...let's gently rewrite the way we measure and understand a person ! <3 (sic)"

Samantha has finally opened up on trolling in one of her recent interactions with Hyderabad Times. Talking about how she is dealing with it, Samantha said, “I remember, the first time when I wore something revealing after marriage, I was trolled terribly and it was very, very hard. But I noticed that when I did it the second time, it was not so bad. It’s all about taking that first step. I’m not going to say that I did something brave. I was scared of the repercussions and of the trolling. But at the same time, I told myself that things have to change and I’m going to do as much as I can to be a part of that change.”

Samantha has surely mastered the art of subtlety especially in shutting trolls. After the announcement of her separation from Naga Chaitanya in October, 2021, a Twitter user commented, “@Samanthaprabhu2 is a divorced ruined second hand item who has 50 crores tax free money robbed from a gentleman!''. Calmly replying to the troll, the actress wrote, “God bless your soul."
