Telangana Assembly Elections 2018: TV celebs cast their vote and urge fans to vote

It’s ‘Election Day’ in the state of Telangana today (December 6) and here’s how our celebrities made it a point to vote and urge people to exercise their right to vote.

Kaushal Manda

Actor-model Kaushal Manda values the right to vote like none. The Bigg Boss Telugu 2 winner, who has been touring Australia, even cancelled his Sydney trip to cast his vote. Taking it to his social networking handle, Kaushal posted pictures of his return tickets to India along with his kids and urged even people living abroad to exercise their vote emphasizing the importance of the constitutional right.

Navdeep

Actor Navdeep of Bigg Boss Telugu and Tollywood Squares was apparently one of the first ones to cast his vote and share pictures of the same on his Instagram handle. Navdeep, who has been talking about the ‘right to vote’, from a couple of days, also posted a video right after casting his vote, urging his fans to vote too. Interestingly, he got inked on both the hands.

“Confused fingers,” reads his Instagram post.

Lakshmi Manchu

The eminent actress and TV personality chose to underline the importance of voting and the option ‘NOTA’ as well. The Memu Saitham host who recently judged dance reality show Aata Juniors posted a video on her Instagram handle urging people not to miss their vote. She asked fans to share their pictures after casting their votes.

Rana Daggubati

The 'No.1 Yaari with Rana’ host is a busy man. But that didn’t keep him away from exercising his right to vote. Before flying off to Vishakapatnam for one of his brand endorsements, Rana cast his vote and shared a picture of the same on his social networking handle.

“I’ve cast my vote!! How you did too!!,” reads his tweet.

While, many shared their pictures of voting in the comment section, some highlighted the typo in Rana’s post.

“Telengana!! Time to vote my friends!! Go for it��,” wrote Nagarjuna Akkineni, the famous actor, producer and Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu host, on his social networking handle.

Sharing a picture of his inked hand along with his wife Amala Akkineni, Nagarjuna encouraged his fans to go out and vote.
