SMC election results: AAP organises 'Thank you Surat' rally in Varachha

Aam Aadmi Party organised 'Thank you Surat rally' in Varachha area after Surat municipal corporation election results. AAP got 27 seats in civic polls, becoming second largest party after BJP in SMC. AAP convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal met newly elected corporators and volunteers in Surat. Kejriwal said BJP and Congress are perturbed and scared since results of Gujarat municipal elections rolled out. He said, ‘I've been listening to statements of BJP and Congress, over past few days after the results (of Gujarat municipality elections). They're perturbed, a little scared. We have to understand that they're not scared of you or AAP. They're scared of people who voted for you.’
