GVMC polls: Voters line up in various wards to cast their vote in Visakhapatnam

Voters lined up at different wards of Visakhapatnam to cast their vote in the GVMC polls. The GVMC polls are being held after a gap of almost 14 years. Over 17 lakh voters are expected to cast their ballots to elect the next GVMC council after nearly 14 years since the last election. The proposal to make Visakhapatnam the executive capital ensured that no political party left anything to chance in a bid to claim the key corporation.
