M S Lavanya, whom a prominent book of world records listed as the only woman saxophonist a few years ago, says that if not for her parents, she wouldn’t have overcome all those hurdles to be who she is today. The winner of multiple awards and a globetrotter artiste was in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday and she talks about her journey with the woodwind instrument.
