Mumbai's 74 trust-run hospitals, including Breach Candy, Saifee, Lilavati, Nanavati, Godrej, Kokilaben Ambani, Hinduja and Jaslok, have been asked by the charity commissioner to take their services to the poor people. Accordingly, these hospitals organised free medical camps in various slum localities. Doctors of the Lilavati Hospital treated patients at the Don Bosco shelter in Wadala. The move is aimed at making the poor people aware about the facilities available for them at these premium hospitals at free or marginal cost.
